Damn, I didn't get any of the homework done that I wanted to this weekend...like usual. I did see an awesome live Live concert last night though. I'm so glad that the lead singer shaved off his ponytail mullet. (Click on 3/13/03 Hollywood, CA) If it's not on mulletsgalore.com then it definitely should be.

Thanks to Sunil, I just discovered this new band The Transplants. You should check them out. They've got the insane drumming of Travis from Blink 182 and the awesome guitar of Tim Armstrong of Rancid. Oh yeah!

WTF?!? I love it when the city decides to put up signs all of a sudden that says we can't park anywhere on our street. So where the hell do I get to park then? I don't exactly have a driveway, unless you count the large gaping gorge behind our house. Bastards...

I was going to write something very profound and insightful here tonight, but instead i've got nothing. I could say something about the war, but it's all been said. If you want to know how I feel about our president and war just listen to eddie vedder in "Bushleaguer." He says it all....or rather mumbles it all. Peace in the Middle East.

Finally, a day where I can walk to school without 20 layers of cloth between me and the outside world. At least global warming is good for something...

I'm back at school....this sucks. Not that i did much of anything over break, but that's the beauty of it. Doing nothing is better than a lot of stuff.

Today was Dragon Day....or maybe it should have been called "Stand outside in the snow and freeze your ass off Day." That would have been more appropriate. It was pretty cool still, but i didn't stay around to watch them torch the dragon. I did see people riding tricycles, a guy with a grass tie, and some guys pushing a shopping cart with mcdonald's painted on the side. Those crazy architects...

Tomorrow the new EVERCLEAR cd comes out, "Slowmotion Daydream" You may think, "Well, why does Nathan care so much that everclear has a new cd out. They really suck now because they are all poppy." Well, I can't really explain why I get excited when they have a new cd out... maybe it's just because in high school I had this certain vision of the way things should be and Everclear just made me feel like all of those things were possible. Just listening to some of their lyrics makes you smile. So i don't really care what you think.

The last thing I want to do right now is write a paper about the "molecular mechanism and regulation of parasite motility driven by actin polymerization." Why am I a cell biology major?

So me and my friends invented a new beer drinking game last night while we were attending a Mardis Gras party at the home of Old Ezra himself. BEERSKETBALL, it's the wave of the future.
Also, I forgot my toothbrush at home so I wasn't able to brush my teeth last night after eating a whole clove of garlic. Yeah, I'm smart.

You know what I hate more than anything? Buying what I like to call Satan's Milk. Yes, what I am referring to is gasoline. It is outrageously expensive and you never even get to see that actual stuff you're buying unless you spill it all over your car or on your shoes. So how do we know what we're getting? We don't and it's bullshit. And George Bush is the biggest bullshit of all the bullshit.

I never understood gymnasts. Those weird little bodies, those muscular legs, those tight asses....I just don't get it. I think they should have a "Survivor: Gymnasts in Antarctica" just to see if they can really exist outside of their world of pommel horses and balance beams.
So last night I went to see my friends play at Border's in the Pyramid Mall. I do have to say they were quite good. Check them out and buy the cd!
